Prefer the funky Victorian decor to sterile modern motels. Loved the lawn with room to play bocce, sit under the wisteria laden pergola and smoke a fine cigar just minutes from Tanglewood.
Not your place if you are looking for flat screen tv, lots of space, modern decor, etc.

Old historic hotel in a nice enough area near to hiking trails, the town center where one can find restaurants, novelty shops, Christian churches and a park, and the garden. Reasonably spacious room with central heating and a flat-screen TV for a terrific stay. Marvellous and stunning location at a short distance from Church on the Hill.

Again, our stay was very pleasant. The family makes everyone feel welcome and were dealt with fondly by many guests; the inn has many spacious rooms for relaxing; breakfast was large and varied. Our room did have nice space with a small bathroom enclosed. The location is terrific.
We hadn't asked if a queen sized bed was available and would have preferred one.

This inn is close to everything in Lenox. It is very conveniently located. The house is filled with interesting art work and antiques, and there are well-tended gardens.
We arrived to find that we had been reserved a room in the coach house rather than the inn proper. This was a short walk through the yard. From the outside it seemed private and had a small porch with chairs that overlooked the garden. However, when the staff member opened the door to show us in, the smell of mustiness and mold was overpowering. She mentioned that someone had left early and might not be returning in which case their room would be available for a $20 additional fee. She promised to text the information to me, which she did. It turned out that the room was not available. My husband went back to request a different room as he is highly allergic to molds. A smaller room was offered which we took. It was cob webby and had many other various multilegged creatures in it. The mattress was old, the pillows flat and hard. An uninspiring self-service continental breakfast was served in a gracious dining room. This was a disappointing stay.

This place is amazing and we're definitely coming back! the location is super convenient - right in the middle of everything. Definitely opt for a double room so you can enjoy the delicious homemade breakfast, access the library, and indulge in some yummy cookies 🍪.

We were charged an extra $21 "room tax" on top of the already steep price paid to Booked.net. I did not expect to pay an additional fee. I beleive I am owed a refund of $42, $21 for each of 2 rooms.

I recently stayed at a charming inn in Lenox with a rich history and warm hospitality. The innkeepers were eager to share their knowledge of the area and provided helpful recommendations for activities and attractions. The breakfast each morning was absolutely delightful, with a variety of homemade goodies to choose from. The interior of the inn was beautifully designed, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The conversations held in the library with other guests were truly enjoyable, and the owners' stories added a special touch to the experience. I highly recommend this inn for a memorable stay in Lenox.

This hotel in the Berkshire mountains offers great value for money. The prices are reasonable and the attention to detail is commendable. The location is perfect, nestled in the beautiful Berkshire mountains, providing a peaceful and picturesque environment. The staff here are friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any queries or requests. The basic amenities are well-maintained and cater to all your needs. The rooms are comfortable and cozy, with tasteful decor that truly enhances the ambiance. And the breakfast spread is delightful, offering a variety of traditional inn-style fare.
All was well with this hotel, no improvements needed.
